  • General Position Summary

    The (Senior) Account Analyst is responsible for assisting the PJM Market Settlements Development group with acquiring data from multiple sources within/ outside of the PJM environment. The (Senior) Account Analyst serves as the principal liaison for PJM and its members and as the interface those participants interested in entering into PJM or companies wanting to make changes and/or updates to their company profile and access through the (Sr.) Account Analyst.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Input, maintain, and update all user accounts and their associated privileges in the organizational database for access to PJM eTool applications through Account Manager per the customer's Line of Business.
    • Generate various database reports for informational distributions, customer registration confirmations, and PJM analyses.
    • Monitor and follow up, as necessary, with external customers regarding the accuracy of submitted information in Account Manager.
    • Evaluate and periodically review user accounts for proper qualifications and follow up with appropriate PJM staff to support the SOC 1 audit.
    • Maintain/update Security Access/Authorization Forms.
    • Maintain timely and accurate records of customer membership and withdrawn accounts.
    • Provide guidance for new eTool application integrations into Account Manager and associated Access Manager roles.
    • Conduct and document periodic Customer Account Manager recertifications per audit requirements.

    Characteristics and Qualifications


    • BS, Business or equivalent work experience
    • 0-5 years of experience
    • Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
    • Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
    • Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
    • Experience using verbal and written communications skills
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)
    • Experience with DBMS concepts (including SQL queries, tables, views, DB links, etc.)


    • MBA, Business Administration
    • Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions
    • Experience supporting any of PJM Committees
