  • General Position Summary

    Reporting to the Director, People Service Center, the HR Analyst, Compliance & Onboarding is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources compliance, onboarding and talent processes. The Analyst will ensure integrity of compliance and onboarding data (i.e. PII, etc.) through accurate and timely processing as well as record keeping and auditing.
    The Analyst will work primarily with Legal, Reliability Compliance, Internal Audit, Physical and Cyber Security. The Analyst will support all hiring managers with talent activities as needed.
    Flexibility, strong customer service skills as well as the ability to problem solve with minimal supervision is required and expected of this role. Additional duties are requested as needed.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    • Support the Human Resources department as needed regarding requirements outlined by regulatory entities (i.e. EEOC, RFC, etc.). Compliance activities include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Conduct pre and active employment background check process through consumer reporting agencies
    • Conduct reference checks
    • Process and provide maintenance for immigration files
    • Process separation requests for employees and contractors as needed
    • Create, maintain and distribute desktop procedures for CIP HR process and inventory of compliance items


    • Support the Human Resources department as needed regarding the onboarding of new employees, contractors and student workers as needed
    • Support the Yoh MSP with the onboarding of contract workers
    • Support the Identity management team with updates and start up information for both employees and contractors
    • Initiate the onboarding process through the dissemination of pre-hire requirements (i.e. required documents and trainings as needed
    • Monitor requirements completion and outstanding items
    • Notify hiring managers or coordinators of onboarding process (as needed)
    • Update HR systems (Icims, Ceridian, HRTMS, SuccessFactors, TrueScreen) with onboarding items

    1st Step Talent:

    • Support Sr. Recruiter in recruitment process for new employees as well as student workers
    • Prepare recruitment/offer documents for new employees as well as student workers
    • Support talent management reporting and documentation
    • Support career fair and events for the organization
    • Support HR Programs (i.e. Arc, Co-Op, Intern, RDP)

    Characteristics and Qualifications


    • BS, Human Resources, Business, High School degree with at least 5 years of experience in HR
    • At least 4 years of experience professional administrative work in a highly confidential environment
    • At least 4 years of experience Compliance
    • Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
    • Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
    • Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience with HR rules, regulations, processes & sensitive data


    • MBA degree
    • At least 4 years of experience working in an HR or compliance department
    • Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions
    • Experience supporting any of PJM Committees
